Business Law (2d year in work/study programme)
Possibility of doing an apprenticeship or a professional training contract in 2d year
The LL.M. in Franco–German and European Business Law is taught in French, in German and in English. During the two years of the programme – the first on the campus of the Faculty of Law of the University of Passau in Germany and the second on the Issy-les-Moulineaux campus of the Faculty of Law of the UCL – students specialise on various topics in Business Law, in French, German and European legal spheres.

Prerequisites
- Holder of LL.B. / Bachelor in Law
- B2 English and German levels (consulter la Common European Framework)
- Application file + interview in English and German
Objectives
Programme covering the main topics of business law in France, Germany, and at the European level (Commercial Law, European Antitrust Law, Corporate Law, European Competition Law, Contract Law, International and European Mergers & Acquisitions Law…).
Additional training in a company or in a law firm (work/study programme : “Alternance” in French), part of the final mark.
Training to legal activities of companies, public institutions and Franco–German and European law firms.
1st year Master

- One year of legal training in each country (Faculty of Law of Passau, Germany, then Faculty of Law at UCL, Issy-les-Moulineaux campus near Paris in France)

- Issuance of a certificate of recognition of study (“Leistungsanerkennung”) by the Faculty of Law in Passau at the end of the first year of the Master’s programme

Professionnalisation

Doctor of Public Law
Xavier PACREAU is a doctor of public law. He has been a permanent lecturer at the Faculty since 2015, is Head of the European law degree on the Issy-les-Moulineaux campus and is a member of the C3RD. He is involved in courses such as introduction to public law, constitutional law and refugee litigation. His areas of research are international criminal law, the law of the use of force, asylum law and humanitarian law.

Aurélie THIERIET-DUQUESNE obtained her doctorate in private law in 2007. Her thesis is on : “Community consumer law and the private law of the Member States. The example of French private law”. She obtained her certificate of aptitude for the profession of lawyer (CAPL) in 2010.
She has been a lecturer at the Faculty since 2010 and a permanent lecturer since 2014, co-director of the School of work-study, director of the Master 1 Social Law and the Master 2 Law and Human Resources Management in work-study on the Issy-les-Moulineaux campus and a member of C3RD.
She teaches civil law (property law), fundamental contract law and working time law.
Her research areas are the law of obligations, consumer law, employment contract law, working time law and European private law.
