MASTERCLASS 2022 « Reassessing Europe’s Ambition »

« How has Europe thought of itself as a global actor for peace and how does it define this role today in a fragmented international system? »

The theme of this 6th edition, “Reassessing Europe’s Ambition”, aims to answer this question.
At a time when war has returned to European territory, we are questioning Europe’s ambitions to build a peaceful model of cooperation between peoples and states. During this week, international speakers will be able to exchange with students and public during open conferences.

The Masterclass “Global Actors for Peace” is a bilingual (French & English) programme bringing together specialists in the field, with the aim of analysing the role and potential of organisations from all over the world (non-state) in the construction of a sustainable international peace. 

It therefore focuses on the role that NGOs, international organisations, academic and civil society experts, regional and international courts can play in building a global peace between states.

This series of scientific conferences is part of the type of dialogue cultivated through Peace Studies, which is very present abroad but still too little addressed in France.

This year, the MasterClass will take place from September 19th to 24th, in person but also online.
