FAQ Professionalization
Because the professional perspectives in legal studies are so diverse, our students are accompanied throughout their studies at the FLD in the construction and the concretisation of their professional project.
How long are internships?
Students must complete a minimum of 8 weeks of work experience over the 3 years of their bachelors degree. They can choose to split this period according to their placement opportunities. It is a minimum of 8 weeks, so they also have the possibility of extending their internships (e.g. one month in 1st year, then one month in 2nd year and finally one month in 3rd year).
At Master’s level, depending on the course followed, the duration of the internship will vary from 2 to 3 months and up to a maximum of 6 months.
Do I have to find my own work placements?
The Career Center can help you find internship offers. However, it is not the Faculty that will impose an offer on you, it is up to you to make the arrangements.
