Official inauguration of Le Vaisseau – Issy-les-Moulineaux

On Wednesday 16 October 2024, the Law Faculty of the Université Catholique de Lille took another step forward in its development with the official inauguration of Le Vaisseau, the new building for the Issy-les-Moulineaux campus. This event is a significant milestone for our faculty, confirming our commitment to academic excellence and our institution’s influence.

Surrounded by prestigious guests, we were honoured to welcome Christophe Ribault, President of the Conseil d’Administration of the Institut Catholique de Lille, Patrick Scauflaire, President-Rector of the Université Catholique de Lille, André Santini, Mayor of Issy-les-Moulineaux, Ioannis Panoussis, Doyen of the Law Faculty, and Christophe Bellon, Vice-Doyen in charge of the Issy-les-Moulineaux campus. Each of them underlined the importance of this moment, looking back on the progress made and talking about future ambitions for the campus. Together, they highlighted the key role of this new space in the education of our students.

The ceremony ended with the official ribbon-cutting protocol, a traditional moment to symbolise the opening of the Vaisseau. Each speaker kept a piece of this ribbon, neatly framed, as a precious souvenir of this solemn moment.

This institutional event was followed by a convivial time with our students and faculty members in a festive atmosphere, illustrating the sense of unity and sharing that characterises our institution.

We would like to thank all the guests, partners and speakers who enriched this ceremony with their presence and their speeches, as well as everyone who helped to organise this memorable event. Your support and involvement were essential to the success of this inauguration.

With Le Vaisseau, we aim to pursue our mission of academic excellence and offer our students a learning environment that fosters innovation and success, combining tradition and modernity.
