Welcome Day: A warm welcome to our International students!

The Université Catholique de Lille is delighted to welcome its new international students to Welcome Day, a special event designed to help you settle in and explore the services available to you. Join us on Thursday, 12 September, from 9am to 4pm in the Grand Hall of the Hôtel Académique building, located at 60 boulevard Vauban, Lille.

A day to discover and get informed

Welcome Day is the perfect opportunity to gather all the essential information you need to start your journey in Lille on the right foot. You’ll be introduced to the wide range of services offered by the University, including:

• Bibliothèque Universitaire: the library for all your academic research needs
• CLARIFE: the University’s language centre
• Campus Créatif: an inspiring space that blends creativity and innovation through workshops
• All: support services for everyday life (food, accommodation, health, social activities and sports)
• CPSU: the University Health Centre
• Radio UCLille: the student radio station that gives you a voice

Alongside the University services, various partners will be present to assist with administrative matters and help you settle into life in Lille, including:

• CAF: for housing benefits
• SMENO and HEYME: student health insurance providers
• Nightline: a mental health and well-being support organisation
• Erasmus Place: helps you find your bearings in Lille
• Livin France: guiding you through the process of moving to France

Explore Lille with guided tours

If you’d like to explore the city and campus, join one of our guided tours of Lille, with departures at 10am and 2pm. You’ll also have the chance to visit Radio UCLille at 1pm and 3pm. Simply meet at the Hôtel Académique reception to participate.
