Welcome Day: A warm welcome to our International students!

The Université Catholique de Lille is delighted to welcome its new international students to Welcome Day, a special event designed to help you settle in and explore the services available to you. Join us on Friday, 10 January, from 11am to 3pm in the Robert Schuman building, located at 58 rue du Port, Lille.

 

A day to discover and get informed

Welcome Day is the perfect opportunity to gather all the essential information you need to start your journey in Lille on the right foot. You’ll be introduced to the wide range of services offered by the University, including:

  • Bibliothèque Universitaire: the library for all your academic research needs
  • CLARIFE: the University’s language centre
  • ALL: support services for everyday life (food, accommodation, health, social activities and sports)
  • CPSU: the University Health Centre
  • Horizon International: the University’s International Relations Department

 

Partners here to help you

Alongside the University services, various partners will be present to assist with administrative matters and help you settle into life in Lille, including:

  • ILEVIA: Public transport services in the Lille European Metropolis
  • CPAM: Caisse Primaire d’Assurance Maladie (health insurance)
  • CAF: Caisse d’Allocations Familiales (for housing benefits)
  • SMENO and HEYME: student health insurance providers
  • Nightline: a mental health and well-being support organisation
  • Erasmus Place: helps you find your bearings in Lille
  • Livin France: guiding you through the process of moving to France

If you want to explore the city and campus, join the free guided tour of Lille, departing at 9am from the reception of the Robert Schuman building, Law Faculty.
